Only a wee post today. Been busy. I've let another character POV out. I've let Douglas dominate much of later parts of this story, and he passd the ball onto Tristan now and again. Had Lydia a bit, had Geoffrey earlier on. And I will have Geoffrey again, eventually. Today it's Abby. It's time for her voice to enter. I think some of you may already have guessed that when I write a story, it isn't always entirely slash that I write about, or not entirely mm slash. So. On with Abby. I'm still working out the details of this scene in my head, because the direction of the story needs to unfold just so. Abby has her plans to make.

Oh. And did you know toads make unhappy noises? We have a toad in back of my desk chair over by the wall. It's a cute widder creature, and I was thinking of keeping him for a bit as my writing mascot. But he doesn't seem inclined at the moment. Ah well.

Well, another Sunday, another bit of Tristan. I'm currently looking at The Pearl, another serial piece I wrote for Erotic Dreams. Well, it's vacation time for my husband. All over Quebec, it is the construction workers' holiday. It's this obligatory thing. The government decreed that construction workers -- and those in any sort of construction/fabrication type job -- should have their yearly fun, and thus, every year in July, all businesses have to dole out the accrued vacation pay and let their hardworking people go. And off they go. The highways are more busy than usual, and on Monday, I'm going to add to the busy, taking a trip to the Gaspé Peninsula to visit relatives.

Here's the latest Tristan, which I worked on this evening so that I might devote my time to packing and cleaning and any other before trip preps that must be done. If you post a comment after this Sunday, I'll respond by next Sunday. Talk to you all later. :D

Well, it's not a big post this time, but it's what I could come up with in the time available to me. First draft. There you have it. Must go out to vacuum the swimming pool now.

Lovely prime number, nineteen. This part is a settling of accounts, mostly. Q and A. Tristan's last few years revealed, but not his pre-Odsworth past. Not yet. That accounting, between him and Douglas, is still coming.

Tristan, the story, has become large enough that I am now dodging back and forth between sections to look for logic flaws and such. Small things like ringing a bell in one place, and the bell is elsewhere later. Who lives where and owns which residence. Stuff like that. If you notice something, don't hesitate to say. Sometimes I don't catch them for a while (in the case of my Soulstone series, I've missed some things up to a year or more later before I clued in). I do appreciate the need for logic in writing, so go ahead. Tell me if I goofed.

Oh, and I didn't fix the published version of where a bell was rung and then not rung. Only fixed it on my computer, just to let you know. :D This is all first draft you're getting, though I will fix an earlier portion if the later just won't fit until I do.

Another installment. I was working on this when someone posted a good question in the comments for the previous section, about the fairies not telling Tristan or Douglas about each other's needs. It was something I had considered already after posting part 17, and in this section, I do take it up. And thank you to Grayalexis for reminding me of it. :D  It's these little details that make the story work or not.

Oh, and there were changes made to part 17 concerning masks so that it would fit with this later installment.

Sorry. Didn't post sooner; was sick, sick, sick. Rotten cold. Still sick.

Anyhow, this is the last of Tristan that was already written months before now, and so I have to write new stuff to finish the story here on LJ as promised. The posts will have to be as I go now, maybe once a week, maybe less, depends on how much I get done and what distractions real life throws at me.

So this post begins at the same point of the God-awful cut that I had to make previously.  Like I said before, feel free to nag me for more of Tristan. The more you ask, the harder I'll work.

This is the second post from the last of what I have already written of Tristan. After that, it will all be new stuff, and you'll have to wait on my creative efforts for the following installments of the story. So...hound me, bother me, nag. Go ahead.
